BAKING ON SUNDAY 20 DEC for ABBEY LEYS FARMERS’ MARKET and COLLECTIONS FROM MY HOME

Abbey Leys Community Christmas Farmers’ Market in High Legh near Lymm in Cheshire will take place from 1000 till 1300.  No need to order from me in advance if you are going to the market,  but you can if you wish. Please note that not all items I am baking will be on sale at Abbey Leys (as producers try not to compete with one another).  Next market at Abbey Leys is Sunday 7 February.

On Sun 20 Dec collections are possible from my home between 1400 and 1600.  It’s essential to order in advance. If you haven’t been here before I will send you directions when I confirm your order.

If you live in or very close to Chester you can request a home delivery (no charge). If you’re willing to volunteer to help out with deliveries please let me know.

Harry's Cake - for lovers of nuts and stem ginger

Walnut Pie – £24 for a whole pie.  3.00 per slice (this is 1/8 of a pie and is easily plenty for 2 portions).  If you order more than one slice I will not cut them, meaning that you can choose portion size. Bbe Feb 21.

Harry’s Cake (for lovers of nuts and ginger) – £16.00 per kg. Whole cakes cost between £7.50 and £9.00.  Half-cakes are also available.  Bbe Feb 21

My 11 months-matured, nut-free, hand-made-with-love Christmas Cakes have been on the brandy for a while…  I sell them by finished weight at £15 per kg including a cardboard gift box.   I have a few cakes that weigh 900g – 1kg and a couple that weight about 1.5kg. You can choose a plain cake to decorate yourself or a cake finished with your choice of fruits and nuts, as in the picture.   50p off  if you don’t need a gift box and supply your own tin.
