SUN 4 Feb 2024 – Abbey Leys Farmers’ Market 10am – 1pm.  Abbey Leys Organic Farm in Peacock Lane, High Legh WA16 6NS.

SAT 10 Feb 2024 – Saughall Farmers’ Market at The Vernon Institute, Church Road, Saughall CH1 6EN 9am – 12 noon and collections from my home in CH2 3pm – 6pm

SAT 17 Feb 2024 – Taste Cheshire Local Producers’ Market on Chester Town Hall Square – approx 10am – 4pm

The items listed below can be ordered for collection from my home between 3pm and 6pm on Sat 27 Jan.  If you haven’t been here before I will send directions when I confirm your order.

Please try to order before midnight on Thursday.  I will accept later orders when possible.

As always, all the flours I use are certified organic.  Any questions about ingredients / allergies, please contact me.

Bread

400g traditional white loaf – £2.70

800g traditional white loaf – £3.90

570g wholegrain rye sourdough tin loaf with figs and fennel seeds – £3.60

Walnut pie (V) – £3.20 per 1/8 pie – enough for 2 portions.  Whole pie costs £24.00. Keeps for at least 1 month in your fridge..

Harry’s Cake – for lovers of nuts and stem ginger

Harry’s Cake (V) – £16.00 per kg. For lovers of nuts and stem ginger chunks.  Whole cakes cost between £7.50 and £10.00.  Half cakes also available.  Keeps for at least 1 month in your fridge.

Apricot energy bars with walnuts and Mickle Trafford raw honey (V) – £2.70 per pack of 2 bars.  Will keep in your fridge for at least 1 month

Almond slice with raspberry jam (V) – £2.70 per pack of 2 portions

Savoury Brioche Tart

Savoury brioche tart (V) with sharp cheddar, tomatoes, onions, spinach and basil  - £3.60 per 1/4 tart (enough for 2 average portions); £7.00 per 1/2 tart; £13.00 per whole tart.

Sausage roll with Pen y Lan free-range rare-breed pork and onions and sage from my garden.  More (avg 130g) filling but now with less pastry. £3.00

Mild aubergine curry roll (VN).  More (avg 130g) filling but now with less pastry. £3.00
