All items are made with certified organic flour and are suitable for vegetarians and vegans unless otherwise stated.  All suitable for home-freezing (always defrost baked goods in an airtight bag or box to prevent drying out).

I do not use ‘flour improvers’ in any of my products.  So-called ‘flour improvers’ (developed and named by factory bakers) are a concoction of enzymes and shelf-life extenders that are used by nearly all  factory bakers and many smaller bakers that give bread huge extra volume, lightness and shelf-life. ‘Flour improvers’ never need to be declared on labels because by law they are deemed to be ‘processing aids’, not ingredients or additives. They are used in almost all of the baked goods sold in the UK, including biscuits, cakes, pastries, breakfast cereals…
