BAKING SAT 10 SEPT FOR COLLECTIONS FROM MY HOME AND FREE LOCAL DELIVERIES

I’m baking SAT 10 SEPT for orders to collect from my front door in CH2 4ER between 3pm and 6pm.  I’ll send directions if you haven’t been to my house before.

If you would like a free delivery or if you are willing to deliver without charging I will try to pair you up with a like-minded volunteer who lives near your address.  If possible, please reciprocate by being willing to return the favour.   In these cases, no money changes hands.  Customers can pay me directly.

Harry’s Cake - for lovers of nuts and stem ginger £16.00 per kg. Whole cakes cost between £7.50 and £9.00.  Half-cakes are also available.

Walnut Pie – whole pie £24.   Half pie £12.  Quarter pie £6.  Eighth pie £3.  This pie is very rich.  One eighth of a pie will easily cut into two or more portions.  It will keep for at least a month in your fridge.

Cauliflower cheese and spinach pasta bake – Ready meal for one person in a ceramic dish to re-heat in your oven or microwave. BAKING SAT 27 AUGUST FOR HOMEGROWN HIGH STREET MARKET IN BUCKLEY, COLLECTIONS FROM MY HOME AND FREE LOCAL DELIVERIES

I’m baking SAT 27 AUGUST for a new market set up by Homegrown Events.  It’s from 11am until (latest) 4pm at Hawkesbury Community Centre, Mill Lane, Buckley CH7 3HA.  There’s plenty of free parking and it would be great to see you there.

Alternatively,  you can order a limited number of items to collect from my front door in CH2 4ER between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm.  I’ll send directions if you haven’t been to my house before.

Macaroni with black pudding from Pen y Lan (Wrexham) free-range rare-breed pigs, chorizo, sun-dried tomatoes and spinach in a creamy béchamel sauce topped with extra-mature cheddar cheese.  350g – £4.50. Will keep in your fridge until Wednesday evening. Please return the ceramic dish.

Dark ginger cake – bbe 4/6/22 – £5.00 Suitable for freezing

Walnut Pie – will keep for at least one month in your fridge and can also be frozen.  A whole pie (10 – 12 inch diameter*) costs £24.00or you can choose any number of slices for £3.00 each. 1 slice is 1/8 of a pie and is easily enough for two portions.  If you order more than one slice I will supply them in one piece so that you can choose yourself where to cut.  *10″ diameter pies are slightly deeper than 12″ dia. and both sizes weigh the same.  Sorry but it isn’t possible to choose which diameter unless you are ordering a whole pie.
